Hummingbird

I was sitting outside on the porch, beginning to get back into the swing of things, sharing and posting pieces of shared messages from spirit through Frecklesoul ( a small wellness coaching boutique) while offering Clairvoyant Readings to help others share their own light.
I had taken some time to reflect on my father’s recent passing and the beautiful lesson it brought: to live life in the present moment.
My emotions weren’t stuck in sadness, but rather settled into a quiet reflection on the beautiful journey of life, and the time I was able to spend with him here, and the next step, as spirit, to continue fulfilling my soul’s purpose.
To my surprise, a truly remarkable gesture was given to me by the universe. A beautiful hummingbird came so close, I could have touched it. It looked directly at me, almost standing still in the air. The timing and presence of this tiny messenger felt like a sacred gift. In that moment, all I could feel was joy and gratitude, for the reminder that I am remembered, loved, and supported to keep going.
It allowed me to be fully present in the gift of life. While in constant motion to stay in flight, the hummingbird somehow stood still. It radiated joy in simply being, and together, we shared a quiet moment like a benchmark of the present. We reflected each other as spiritual beings on a journey toward love.
This encounter brought with it a new awareness that continues to unfold each day. This beautiful totem also reminded me that the impossible is possible, and subtly called me back to the wisdom of herbal medicine—as hummingbirds travel from flower to flower.
This divine gesture of perfect timing reminds us to hold on to joy, no matter where we stand. Joy is what we come here to experience before returning to the wholeness of love. It’s present all around us, with limitless opportunities to witness miracles every day.
We may still buzz around life, but we can and must make room to stand still long enough to truly enjoy it.
Continued Blessings,
In Love and Light 🦋
